Damian Vassallo is the Chief Operating Officer and Co-Founder of Hamilton12, where he oversees the firm’s operating platform, governance framework, and non-investment risk management. With over 20 years of international experience, Damian combines deep financial acuity with institutional-grade operational discipline to ensure the firm is scalable, resilient, and regulator-ready.

 

A proven growth leader, Damian was a co-founder of Healthia Limited, where he played a pivotal role in its consolidation and successful $26M ASX listing in 2018. He was instrumental in the group's strategic growth, which ultimately led to its acquisition by Pacific Equity Partners for $260M in 2023. Prior to transitioning full-time to Hamilton12, Damian served as APAC and Middle East Director for Honeywell Process Solutions, where he managed a significant regional P&L and delivered double-digit growth across critical infrastructure sectors.

 

Damian is deeply committed to governance and community leadership. He currently serves as Deputy Chair of the Brisbane Archdiocesan Services Council (ASC) and is a Member of the Archdiocesan Finance Council (AFC), providing strategic and fiduciary oversight for the Archdiocese’s agencies and assets. 

 

He holds an MBA from the University of Queensland, where he received the Director’s Award for Leadership (2007) and was honoured with the 2025 MBA Alumni Ambassador Award for his enduring contribution to the university community. He also serves as an Adjunct Senior Fellow at the University of Queensland, School of Mechanical and Mining Engineering.
